OKX fee rebate: how OKX affiliate commission becomes a daily cashback on your trading fees

OKX pays affiliates a share of referred traders' fees. Here is how that share can come back to you, how OKX verifies a referred UID, and what is different about OKX compared with Bybit, MEXC and Bitget.

OKX fees and where the rebate comes from

OKX charges maker and taker fees on spot and perpetual swaps, with lower rates for higher VIP levels. Like the other large exchanges, OKX runs an affiliate program that pays the affiliate who referred a trader a percentage of that trader's fees. A fee rebate service returns part of that percentage to the trader, which lowers the effective fee without changing anything on the OKX side.

How OKX verification works

OKX exposes an affiliate API that confirms whether a UID belongs to the affiliate's invitee tree and reports the invitee's registration date, deposit and monthly volume. RebateYou uses that endpoint to verify your OKX UID instantly, with no API key from you. As with every exchange, the referral must be attached when the OKX account is created; OKX does not allow adding it later.

What is different on OKX

OKX's affiliate API verifies invitees but does not publish a per-invitee daily commission report. That means the daily commission figure has to be taken from the OKX affiliate centre export instead of read automatically. On RebateYou this is the reason OKX is listed as "coming soon": we only switch an exchange on when the daily credit is fully automatic and auditable. When OKX adds a daily commission endpoint, or when we complete an import process that meets the same standard, OKX goes live with the same tiers as Bybit, MEXC and Bitget.

What to do now if you trade on OKX

If you plan to open an OKX account, open it through our referral link once OKX is live on the site, so the referral is attached from day one. If you already have an OKX account that was not opened through an affiliate link, it cannot be moved; a new account is the only way to earn a rebate on OKX, the same rule as on every exchange.

Payouts go only to the UID you verified, once per exchange per withdrawal day, within 24 hours of the request. Figures are as of the previous day, GMT+0. Your VIP level follows your trailing 30-day volume on that exchange.
