How this works, in full

Nothing on this page is marketing. It is the mechanism, written down so you can check every step against the exchange's own documentation and your own dashboard.

1. The affiliate structure

RebateYou holds an affiliate account with each exchange we list as live: Bybit, MEXC & Bitget. When you open an exchange account through our referral link, the exchange marks that account as referred by us. From then on, every trading fee you pay generates a commission that the exchange pays into our affiliate account, and it reports that commission to us per referred UID, per day, through its affiliate API.

We pass the larger part of that commission back to you. The share you receive is your rebate tier, published as a percentage of the fees you paid, and it rises with your trailing 30-day volume on that exchange. The current tiers for every exchange are on the home page and on each exchange page (Bybit, MEXC, Bitget). Because the rebate is paid out of the commission the exchange already pays us, your fees on the exchange do not change and nothing is charged to you.

2. Verification

When you submit a UID, we query the exchange's affiliate API in real time to ask one question: does this UID belong to our referral tree? If it does, the UID is approved on the spot and starts earning from the next full day (GMT+0). If it does not, you see a clear "not accepted" message, usually because the account was opened without our link or with another affiliate's code. Exchanges do not allow a referral to be added to an existing account, so the fix is a new account opened through our link.

Each UID can be linked to one RebateYou account per exchange, permanently. If you unlink and relink, credits restart from the next full day, and anything that was in your balance from the previous link is forfeited. These rules exist so that one person's trading can never be claimed by two accounts.

3. Daily credits and payouts

Exchanges publish affiliate commission one day in arrears. Every day, once the previous day's figure is available, we read the commission reported for your UID, apply your tier, and credit the rebate to your RebateYou balance. The credit shows the date, the exchange, the tier applied and the resulting amount, so you can audit it line by line.

You can withdraw once per exchange per withdrawal day. A withdrawal day runs from 16:00 to 16:00 GMT+0. The minimum is 10 USDT. Payout is an internal transfer to the exchange UID you verified, on the same exchange, so there is no network fee and nothing leaves the exchange. We pay within 24 hours of your request, and both the dashboard and your Telegram tell you when it has landed.

4. What we can see, and what we cannot

We can see
  • Your exchange UID and the date it was registered.
  • Whether the exchange flags the UID as referred by us and, where the exchange exposes it, whether it has completed KYC.
  • Aggregated trading volume figures the affiliate API reports for the UID (used for your tier).
  • The daily commission the exchange reports for the UID.
  • What you give us at sign-up: email, country, Telegram, and the connection data every website sees (IP address, browser).
We cannot see
  • Your balance, deposits or withdrawals.
  • Your orders, individual trades or open positions.
  • Your identity documents or personal details held by the exchange.
  • Anything inside your exchange account. We hold no API key and no permission of any kind on it.

The full list of what we store and for how long is in the privacy policy.

5. Where the money sits

Your rebate balance is a record in our system of what we owe you, settled by internal transfer from our affiliate account on the exchange to your UID when you withdraw. We never hold your trading funds and never have access to them. The only money that ever moves is the commission the exchange has already paid to us, part of which we transfer onward to you.

6. Reference: the exchange programs behind this

So that none of the above has to be taken on trust, here are the exchanges' own descriptions of the affiliate programs this service is built on:

Each program explicitly allows affiliates to share commission with the users they refer. That is the whole business: nothing is extracted from the exchange or from you that was not already being paid.

7. Who operates this

RebateYou is operated by its founding team. Full terms are at /legal, and the team is described on the About page. Support is on Telegram at t.me/rebateyou.
